SUMMARY:Sunset Park: DNJ Gallery Exhibition - "Unpack Your Mind"
DESCRIPTION:dnj Gallery\, established in 2007\, located on Ocean Park Boulevard in Santa Monica\, has redirected its mission to a space with a charitable and educational purpose. Exhibitions and corresponding events\, ‘Art and Med’\, are aimed at enhancing education\, raising awareness\, and fundraising for specific chronic health conditions. \nThe current exhibition “Unpack Your Mind” features artists living with metal health challenges. The following is a list of all the events associated with this current exhibition: \nEVENTS: \nOUTSIDER FILM SCREENING AND PANEL DISCUSSION\nSunday\, April 19\, 3pm\nA 40 minute award-winning documentary about the late Maury Ornest\, mental illness\, art\, and family – followed by a panel discussion: Lyn Morris\, LMFT\, CEO Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services; Dr. Jonathan Sherin\, Clinical Professor\, Psychiatry and Bio-behavioral Sciences at UCLA\, Adjunct Clinical Professor\, Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at USC\, and former Director at Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health; and\, Laura Ornest\, mental health advocate\, retired KNX radio journalist\, sister of Maury Ornest\nModerator: Miles Beller\, literature editor of C.G.
