Sadhana Health Service Animal Policy

Sadhana Health Service Animal Policy

At Sadhana Health, our priority is to provide a safe, accessible, and inclusive environment for all patients. To comply with California State law and to ensure access to care for individuals who rely on trained assistance animals, we maintain the following policy regarding animals on our premises.

Service Animals

  • In accordance with California law, service animals are permitted in all public areas of the clinic where patients are allowed.
  • Service animals are legally not required to wear identification, vests, or tags.
  • Handlers must maintain full control of their service animal at all times. If a service animal is disruptive or not under control, Sadhana Health may request that the handler remove the animal from the premises.

Emotional Support Animals

  • Emotional support animals are not classified as service animals under California law.
  • Emotional support animals are permitted inside Sadhana Health facilities. Their handlers must uphold the same standard of control over their animal as individuals with a service animal. If an emotional support animal is disruptive or not under control, Sadhana Health may request that the owner remove their animal from the premises.

Pets

  • To maintain a safe and sanitary environment, pets of any kind are not allowed on clinic property.

Our Commitment

We understand that concerns may arise regarding the presence of animals in the clinic. Please know that any service or emotional support animal on site is present in compliance with state law and Sadhana Health policy. This allows us to support patients who require assistance to access healthcare.
